Music at BCC
Jae Carelli is a soprano, music director/educator, and performing artist (JAE.CI). They currently serve as music director of Bethany Congregational Church in East Rockaway, direct The Freetones, a treble voice a cappella group, and teach voice with Singing Lesson NYC by Eleonor England. Jae actively performs in the NYC area, recently premiering their solo show and debut album this past May, and is currently pursuing a Master of the Arts in Voice Pedagogy with The Voice Study Centre (accredited by The University of Wales Trinity St. David).
Guest Musician
Michael Ducorsky is currently pursuing his bachelor’s in music education and clarinet performance at the Crane School of Music. Michael isn’t afraid to explore a wide array of genres and styles, each representing a part of his artistic voice. As a musician, he plays with many ensembles, including orchestras and wind bands, leading him to prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City and Jordan Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. Michael has also performed in various jazz and rock groups both on Long Island and in Potsdam, New York. Along with performing, he is a passionate educator who is dedicated to working with students to achieve their personal goals.
He is honored to collaborate with the Bethany Congregational Church and be a part of a great community.
